Moodboard For Music Video
This is the moodboard we created to show our music video idea's. It includes the two opposites in which we are basing our music video on.-On the one side we have Lucy Star's personality and her inspirations. It includes her musical tastes (Lady GaGa & Florence, from Florence and the Machine.) Also as our video is based on a fashion show and the catwalk we included her fashion tastes (Charity Shops & Vintage clothing.)
- On the other side (and her complete opposite) is the whole 'Wag' personality. It includes celebrities such as Cheryl Cole which ae associated with being fake (from the fake tan to hair extensions etc.)
The moodboard is to put across our idea of Lucy Star being an opposite to what other people are trying to make themselves to be in society. The whole idea shows Lucy Star as her own person and being an individual.

Simlilar Music: Natalie Cole Wild Women Do
When performing the song 'Wild Women Do' Natalie Cole is shown to be a strong and independent woman. She drive's her own car and is dressed to impress in smart clothing. The other girls playing the instruments are shown to be dressed in skimpy clothing, which reflects one of Andrew Goodwin's theories that voyeurism is used to attract viewers to the video particularly male's who are viewing women in a voyeuristic way. Some of the lyrics also portray the image of independence such as, 'You tell me you want a woman who's as simple as a flower.
Well if you want me to act like that, You'd better pay me by the hour'. Showing to the audience the message she is trying to get across that she is not like all those other women, she works and she doesn't want to be a clone of everyone else. Also when saying 'Wild Women Do and they don't regret it' shows she doesn't care what other people think. They way she also looks into the camera and her actions, aren't aggressive but show that she can stand up for herself and isn't scared to speak her mind. The song was also used in the credit for 'Pretty Woman' which is a romantic comedy that shows Julia Robert's playing Vivian Ward who is a prostitute. I think this song shows in independence, and works with this film, as it shows a woman will always try and support herself even if it means like the story of 'Pretty Woman'.

Digipaks.
Digipaks are made usually from paper or cardboard. They consist of plastics holders which are capaple of holding up to a CD and a DVD inside. The packaging is used for CD singles being released, special CD edition packs or holding a CD and DVD all in one package.
It grew popular in the early 2000's with artists and producers as the normal jewel case would crack easier than a digipak case.
AGI (The registered owners) have now created the digipak i-create. It is a web supported concept that is aimed at the download, music, photo and creative markets. One of the most recent albums having a digipak only release is 'Teenage Dream' by Katy Perry.
Cyndi Lauper - Girl's Just Wanna Have Fun Lyrics.
My mother says "When you gonna live your life right?"
Oh,mother,dear,
We're not the fortunate ones,
And girls,
They wanna have fu-un.
Oh,girls,
Just wanna have fun.
The phone rings in the middle of the night,
My father yells "What you gonna do with your life?"
Oh,daddy,dear,
You know you're still number one,
But girls,
They wanna have fu-un,
Oh,girls,just wanna have
That's all they really want.....
Some fun....
When the working day is done,
Oh,girls,
They wanna have fu-un,
Oh,girls,
Just wanna have fun....
Girls,
They want,
Wanna have fun.
Girls,
Wanna have
Some boys take a beautiful girl,
And hide her away from the rest of the world.
I wanna be the one to walk in the sun.
Oh,girls,
They wanna have fu-un.
Oh,girls,
Just wanna have
That's all they really want.....
Some fun....
When the working day is done,
Oh,girls,
They wanna have fu-un.
Oh,girls,
Just wanna have fun...
Girls,
They want,
Wanna have fun.
Girls,
Wanna have.
They just wanna,
They just wanna.....
They just wanna,
(Oh....)
They just wanna.....
(Girls just wanna have fun...)
Oh...
Girls just wanna have fu-un...
They just wanna,
They just wanna....
They just wanna,
They just wanna....
(Oh...)
They just wanna...
(They just wanna have fun...)
Girls just wanna have fu-un...
When the workin',
When the working day is done.
Oh,when the working day is done,
Oh,girls...
Girls,
Just wanna have fu-un...
They just wanna,
They just wanna....
They just wanna,
They just wanna have fun...
Girls just wanna have fu-un..
They just wanna,
They just wanna....
They just wanna,
They just wanna....
(Have fun..)
They just wanna,
(Girls wanna have fun)
They just wanna....
Oh,girls...
(Wanna have fun....)
Girls just wanna have fu-un.
When the workin',
When the working day is done.
Oh,when the working day is done,
Oh,girls,Girls just wanna have fu-un.
They just wanna,
They just wanna....
(Oh,girls...)
They just wanna,
(Have fun....)
Oh,girls..
Girls just wanna have fu-un
They just wanna,
They just wanna...
When the working day is done...(fades)

Similar Music: Madonna Material Girl
Material Girl by Madonna was released on January 30th 1985 by Sire records. At the beginning we are shown two men watching her performing on a cinema screen, criticising how big of a star she is. This shows the aspect of men looking at women, and looking at their bodies, like she is something to be looked upon. Again, we see another man looking in on a woman, who is on the phone- the colours show alot of pink and red, conotating love and maybe danger. The connotation of danger could be used in these scene, as the man has obviously been let down by the female, showing his pain. When it opens out onto Madonna performing the song, The pink and red again plays a big part part again, she is acting flirty and feminine, with a group of men surrounding her, and playing along with her flirtiness. She plays along with each of these men for their 'material possesions' which shows the danger as she goes along of hurting them, as she goes from one man to another (red connotations.) At the end, showing Madonna in white and with white flowers, shows although she likes her material possesions, deep down the simpler things make her most happiest and content (White - pure, real.) The whole image for the video was taken from Marilyn Monroe's performance in 'Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend'.
